I’m a certified WETT inspector and a CPBC licensed home inspector, with 20+ years of construction experience as an electrician behind me.

What does a WETT Level 1 inspection cover?
A Level 1 WETT inspection is a non-invasive visual inspection of your wood stove, fireplace or insert, its chimney and venting system, and the clearances to combustibles, with any visible deficiencies and safety concerns written up in your report.
When do I need a WETT inspection?
Most often when an insurer asks for one at a new policy or a renewal, when a home with a wood-burning appliance is being bought or sold, and after a new wood stove or fireplace is installed, to confirm it meets current standards.
How much does a WETT inspection cost in Kelowna?
$199.95 for a WETT Level 1 inspection of the first appliance, and $99.95 for each additional wood stove, fireplace or similar appliance on the same property.
When will I get the written report?
