No. An inspection checks whether the installation meets code and reports on it. A sweep cleans the chimney. If cleaning is needed, the report will say so.
Can I use the appliance on the day of the inspection?
Please do not light it beforehand. The appliance and chimney need to be cool so they can be inspected safely and properly.
